Programme contents

The Artist Diploma is a two-year diploma program designed as a post-master program for advanced musicians who are preparing a performing career.

Freedom and flexibility have been built into the curriculum of the Artist Diploma to match the demands of active performing career schedules.

The Artist Diploma program is rigorous instrumental and musical training, with individual lessons with piano accompaniment, group coaching, masterclasses and performances.

The Artist Diploma certificate is conferred upon successful completion of all the performance requirements set out above.

Admission

The study programme is addressed to young musicians who are counted among the outstanding talents of their generation.

There is no age limit for admission to the Artist Diploma programme.

Students are selected according to their musical background, artistic achievements, professional goals, and level of performance.

Application

Applicants must complete the online application form.

After the applications have been reviewed by the examination board, candidates will be invited to submit a video recording including two contrasting works.

Based on this recording, a limited number of candidates will then be invited to take part in an individual online interview.

Following the interview, applicants will be notified whether they are offered a place at the Pernoo School of Musical Performance, and under what conditions (programme, duration, scholarships, etc.)

Application fees

The application fee to be paid by the applicant is €150.

Tuition fees

The annual cost of a place on the Pernoo School of Musical Performance Artist Diploma programme is €6,500 per year.
