Four cellists who studied with Jérôme Pernoo selected for the Queen Elisabeth Competition

The Pernoo School of Musical Performance is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of four cellists connected to our school at the Concours Musical International Reine Elisabeth – Violoncelle 2026.

We are especially happy to see Krzysztof Michalski selected for the finals taking place next week.

The Queen Elisabeth Competition is one of the world’s most demanding and respected international music competitions. Seeing four students of Jérôme Pernoo represented at this level is a great source of pride for the Pernoo School of Musical Performance.

Beyond the results themselves, these selections reflect years of dedication, artistic commitment and rigorous musical work.

We warmly congratulate all four musicians and wish Krzysztof every success for the final stage of the competition.
